About ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ
Creating a better world through excellent graduate education and research on Islam and society in the Muslim world
ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ (ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ), also known as the Indonesian International Islamic University (IIIU), is a dynamic, globally oriented graduate institution dedicated to advanced studies on Islam and the Muslim world. As a center of academic excellence, ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ offers four faculties and a diverse range of programs designed to foster critical scholarship, intellectual exchange, and innovative research. Complementing its academic offerings, the university is home to cutting-edge research centers that address key strategic issues and challenges facing Muslim societies worldwide. With a commitment to shaping future leaders and scholars, ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ stands at the forefront of global Islamic higher education.

To preserve and promote Islamic culture and civilization—including Indonesia’s rich and diverse heritage—ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ has established a dedicated institution to advance the study, conservation, and celebration of Muslim heritage in the region. As part of this initiative, the university will develop a museum that will showcase a distinguished collection of artifacts, highlighting their historical, aesthetic, and scientific significance to the Muslim world.
ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Annual Report
This ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Annual Report was prepared as a form of accountability for the realization of the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ work plan, which also reflects the achievements and performance of the organization in that year. We need to underline that this report is more than just fulfilling obligations in a large organization’s proper administration. Still, this report is presented as an effort to realize open and governed governance. Even though ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ is relatively young, ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ feels the need to start and get used to the tradition of good governance to build a transparent, responsible, and authoritative academic environment. Although reports like this are commonplace on campuses, in Ministries or Institutions, this ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Annual Report has its meaning because several strategic agendas that have been proclaimed can be carried out correctly.
Compiled collaboratively by all work units, this report includes seven sections which, in outline, can represent the achievements of ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ’s operational performance, namely:
- Academic, Student Affairs, and HR;
- Cooperation, Research, and Community Engagement;
- Planning, Finance, and Business Development;
- Secretariat, OKH (Organization, Personnel, and Law), and General Affair;
- Information Technology;
- Central Library dan Cultural; and
- Building and Infrastructure Development and Meubelair Fulfillment.
With a big vision to create a better world through superior education and research, ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ again accepts students from Indonesia and friendly countries in the 2022/2023 Academic Year. By adding four doctoral study programs in 4 faculties and providing scholarships through various schemes, ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ is ready to produce competent scholars to advance science and technology and promote moderate Islam and Indonesian culture to the world community.
We hope this annual report can be used for the good of ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ in the future. No ivory is not cracked; we believe that in this report, there are several limitations, and we beg your pardon. We thank the cooperation of all parties involved in preparing this report.
